This paper discusses the interaction between the history of science and STS in Western countries by analyzing citation patterns in such journals as Isis, Social Studies of Science, and Science Technology and Human Values. It then examines the interaction between the two disciplines in Korea by looking into the citation pattern of the Journal of the Korean History of Science Society and the Korean Journal of Science and Technology Studies. On this basis, this paper suggests a way to increase the fruitful interactions and collaborations between the history of science and STS in Korea.
