Editorial Regulations
These regulations govern the editing and review of manuscripts for the journal of The Korean History of Science Society. Key provisions include:
- The journal is published on April 30, August 31, and December 31 each year (Article 2).
- The editorial board consists of no more than 20 members including the Editor; terms are two years and renewable (Article 3).
- Full manuscripts must be submitted at least two months before the publication date and must not have appeared in another journal (Article 6).
- After a first-stage review of form and length, each manuscript undergoes second-stage review by three or more reviewers. Decisions are: Accept (A), Accept after revision (B), Resubmit for review after revision (C), Reject (D) (Article 7).
- Reviewer selection and the review process are confidential (Article 8).
- Copyright in published articles belongs to the Society; two copies of the issue are provided to the author (Article 10).
- These regulations took effect on October 30, 2020 (Article 11).
