Abstract
맥스웰의 두번째 전자기학 논문 「물리력선에 관하여」에 나타나는 유명한 소용돌이 에터 모델에 대하여 간략하게 고찰하고 그 모델의 발견법적 가치를 둘러싼 논쟁에 대하여 검토한다.
